CKids Summer Club

  • What's in store at the CKids Summer Club?

    • It will take place once a week, on Tuesdays, from 4-6PM.
      For the month of July for now, bonus weeks to be determined.
    • Ages 5-11, boys and girls
    • Child friendly dinner will be served
    • Drop-off, no parents in the building.
    • Staffed by Chanchie Krinsky and local teens, no one from out of state.
    • All participants, children and staff will have their temp taken before entering the building. All staff will wear masks. Children over 10 can wear masks. We will take care to follow all CDC recommendations.
    • We will limit registration of each workshop to 20 children , then split into two groups based on age. No more than ten children per age group.
    • You can pay and sign up à la carte, or sign up for all the clubs at a discounted rate. 

    Party like it’s your birthday! It’s time to learn all about the birthday you may not have known you had, your Jewish birthday. We will discover how to celebrate and explore why celebrating our birthdays is so important.

    Figure out when your Hebrew birthday is, create your own Hebrew art calendar, team up with your friends for a fun trivia game. Top it all off with a birthday cake decorating celebration!

    KIDS BABKA-LLAH BAKE - Tuesday, July 14

    Kids! Grab your chef’s hat! We’re taking your baking skills to the next level with some fun Challah and Babka baking.

    Featuring for the very first time a Build-A-Challah workshop. Create your new favorite doll- a challah pillow! Choose from a variety of challah pillows, stuff them and make them special with their own Mitzvot and prayers!

    SHARK TANK- Israel Edition- Tuesday, July 21

    Children will learn about the impact of three organizations addressing current needs of Israeli citizens, while developing their own one-of-a-kind innovations. Using tools and their imaginations, participants will team up to build their ideas, which will be presented to the sharks.

    Dinner:  Hot dogs and corn on the cob




    Learn about your power to make an impact and uplift the world, while building a community tree of giving. Design, paint and fill this masterpiece tree with carved leaves, sharing your ideas about how you can spread goodness and kindness. Then make your very own seed bomb!

    Dinner: Chicken nuggets and white rice
